Following an internal promotion this opportunity is primarily on-site with clients, spending 3/4 days of the week out of the office representing the Panasonic brand and dealing with contractors during the installation stage of commercial air conditioning (CAC) systems. This involves commissioning the products yourself, checking outputs and making sure products are working to specifications. You will ensure that contractors have the correct information and training to do the installations and carry out proper ongoing maintenance.

When you are in the office, you will be on the phone talking to contractors, answering questions about complex service issues and installation queries. As a part of the sales team, you will play a key part in developing business with new and existing clients and will assist with the design and quoting Commercial Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) systems. This role is based in Highbrook, Auckland with a small amount of overnight travel (2/3 times per month).

To be eligible for this role we need the following skills, combined with your 'one team' approach and passion for technical problem-solving and guiding your colleagues and customers to resolutions.  As a key contributor to maintaining the high levels of Panasonic's customer service, you will have an easy-going, communicative and pragmatic approach to your work:

• EWRB/EST registered with current practicing license (essential)
• Trade qualified in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning (essential)
• 4+ years' practical service experience in HVAC/VRF systems (essential)
• Strong technical competence with VRF systems
• BMS (Building management system) experience
• Hands on approach, problem solving ability
• Organised and trustworthy – this is an autonomous role
• Sales experience (not essential but bonus)
• Full, clean NZ driver's license
