Are you looking for a challenging yet rewarding role? Look no further than the People Advisor position at Auckland Council. As a People Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional phone and web-based People & Performance-related advice to Auckland Council employees and leaders. You will be the first point of contact for staff seeking employment advice, support with People-related processes in our HRIS system, and interpretation of Auckland Council’s HR policies and processes. Collaborating with the wider People team, you will escalate inquiries to the correct channels and ensure that all cases are accurately tracked and recorded in the system.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
- 3+ years experience in high-volume customer service
- High emotional intelligence and resilience
- Ability to juggle conflicting priorities and manage time.
- HR experience and knowledge of NZ employment legislation preferred but not essential.
- Professionalism and experience working in confidential environments.

This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours Monday through Friday. Tuesdays and 2 other weekdays are working from Council HQ in the Auckland CBD with two other days working from home flexiblity.
