Our client is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior People Advisor to provide generalist HR support to an Auckland based portfolio. As a Senior People Advisor, you will be responsible for advising on employment relations within a unionised environment, remuneration, employee engagement, change management, performance management and team development.

Key to your success in this role will be your ability to:

- Develop people capability for current and future needs
- Provide internal customer centric services
- Grow connections within the P&C Directorate, internally and externally
- Provide expert advice and support on all HR policies and practices
- Support People Leaders to manage employment relations matters including employment agreements and negotiations, and personal grievances as required
- Identify opportunities for improving people management processes and designing tools and templates which support consistent and effective practice
- Manage and coordinate specific P&C projects and participate in Corporate Services Branch and organisation-wide working groups and committees
