**The Opportunity**
We currently have an opportunity for a confident and hands on HR Coordinator to join the team in New Plymouth New Zealand. Reporting to the General Manager, this role provides generalist human resource advisory services across all levels of the organisation to support the business to achieve its objectives through its people.
This exciting role is a permanent part time role which offers variety including employee and industrial relations advisory support; end to end HR management and annual cycle activities, recruitment services during peak periods.
**The Role**
- Contribute to the overall HR Function service delivery through development & implementation of strategic initiatives, policies, guidelines, practices, procedures, programs & tools.
- Provide support to annual events eg performance review program; salary review process; talent management and employee engagement programs.
- Support wider HR function with projects and new initiatives.
- Coach internal managers in a range of people related matters to lift their effectiveness in the role - eg performance management / providing effective employee feedback.
- Support recruitment team during peak periods and projects
In order to excel in this valued role within the organization, you will have experience in an advisory position inclusive of generalist HR and supporting ER/IR;
You will have either a University Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Education, Law, or similar discipline.
Have excellent analytical and reporting skills. Above all, you will be an exceptional communicator with a desire to build sustainable relationships to create a positive HR brand for service delivery.
