One of our team is moving on to a new role within Toyota and as such a rare opportunity now exists to join one of New Zealands most well respected and trusted companies in their Logistics Operations department. Your key responsibilities will be to manage the rental defleet process and associated tasks, as well as overseeing the damage claims. This involves working directly with our transport and storage provider (Auto Logistics), our vehicle inspection teams (Manheim & our Marine Surveyors), selected repair companies and the Toyota Stores to ensure efficient inspection, movement and repair of vehicles through the supply chain.

We are looking for someone that has a real passion for logistics and supply chain management. This role offers loads of variety and you will need to be the type of person that embraces the idea that no two days are ever the same You will be quick to respond to challenges that arise and will thrive in an environment that is fast paced and focuses on continuous improvement.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Coordination of New Vehicle Repairs caused by storage or transportation damage.
- Improvement of transit processes to support the reduction of damage.
- Working with Toyota Stores to support escalated vehicle damage cases and ensuring timely repair.
- Supporting the Toyota Used Vehicle Department by coordinating the inspection and de-fleeting of returning Rental vehicles
- Regular reporting on vehicle damages, and associated recoveries, to key stakeholders.
- Contributing to various Logistics projects as required.

**We pride ourselves on our people so to be successful in the role you will need**:

- 1-3 years experience in a relevant supply chain, logistics or parts role
- Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
- The ability to identify and implement improvements to processes
- High levels of customer service and communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
