This is mahi that will improve the health and well-being of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it. **Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity** This newly created role is responsible for supporting and facilitating change management activities within and across the Te Whatu Ora change programme to ensure the successful delivery of HR structural change initiatives and strategic outcomes. The role contributes to analysing, planning, implementing, and evaluating change processes and strategies, helping to facilitate a collaborative approach to change across the organisation and building ownership and capability in change leadership. **Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience** The key skills and experience we are looking for include (but not limited to): - Has a sound knowledge of change management techniques required for effective change. Has a proven ability to work with leadership to coordinate and successfully implement change initiatives. - Demonstrated ability to see the "big picture" and understand the context of the health reform change agenda. Must be comfortable with leading a change initiative where a high degree of ambiguity and uncertainty may exist. - Practical project management experience - scoping work, planning implementation roadmaps, risk management identification and resolution, measurement, communication for staff and leaders. - Strong interpersonal, relationship management and influencing skills are a necessity, along with experience working with leaders during change. - Experience in giving meaningful effect to the expectations outlined in Te Tiriti o Waitangi in their position(s)/at a leadership level - Sound knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation. - Knowledge of the New Zealand health system, New Zealand public sector, and the intent of the health reforms preferred. **Ka kawea e koe | You will bring**: - Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth **Ko te mahi e tika ana mō te ao hurihuri nei |Work that suits today's ever -changing world** Te Whatu Ora supports flexible and hybrid working for our kaimahi.
