Our talented team at Bonson is constantly innovating for better solutions to serve our community. As we continue to grow, we have a vacancy for a Part-Time HR Coordinator to join our team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in New Lynn, Auckland. This is a part-time position and will commence in early January 2026.
The role
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to fill up this position - Part-Time Human Resource Coordinator, in our organization.
You will play a key role in providing expert HR advice and supporting our HR functions and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
You will work closely with our management team and will be an advocate for our employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding: End-to-end recruitment including job postings, screening resumes, interviewing, reference checks, and a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Managing employee relations issues, including staff performance, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
- Support and advice: Providing expert advice and support to employees and management on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Compliance: Ensure all HR practices comply with current labour laws and company policies.
- Review, develop and implement HR policies
- Training and Development: Planning and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, leave, performance review, training and disciplinary records.
- Report: Prepare and present monthly HR reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 - 3 years' experience in HR (similar role). Experience in manufacturing sector is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organisational and communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work well with all levels employees and handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
