The Data and Information team ensures that the data and information they hold is managed well and enables good decisions to be made for tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and their communities.
We have a fantastic opportunity of a Principal Advisor Data and Information to lead strategic work across the team.
The role is highly collaborative and you will need the confidence and proven ability to develop and manage relationships at all levels across the Ministry. You will demonstrate the ability to work at pace to deliver smart solutions to complex problems and provide pragmatic and effective advice.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
- Proven understanding and experience in Data and Information at a senior level would be advantageous
- Experience developing and implementing frameworks, roadmaps and strategies
- Core relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written skills
- Superb communication - an ability to listen, and to work with others to create practical solutions from solve complex problems, in a way that diverse audiences can understand and find compelling;
- Public sector experience with a strong understanding of the machinery of government
- Sound judgment and the ability to influence at all levels
- Ability to manage a diverse workload.
