Bring your exceptional customer service skills and we will put them to good use serving our customers at our rental counters based at the Auckland Airport.
We operate 7 days a week, on a rotating roster so there will be a requirement for you to work early mornings (from 6.30am), afternoons, nights (until 1.30am) and weekends as required.
Auckland Airport is always bustling, and we are looking for people who thrive in a busy environment.
**About the role**:
From our customer counter you will greet and interact with customers, market products and services and complete rental transactions, contracts, and bookings. You will also assist with general customer inquiries and finding resolutions to queries.
To ensure our customers always get the best experience, you will also be required to inspect vehicles for damages and cleanliness.
- Key responsibilities will include: _
- Establishing customer car rental needs by actively listening
- Review in detail our various add on’s and services as to determine what may best suit the customer
- Communicate rental procedures and guidelines effectively
- Complete rental bookings in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner
- Answering customer questions and inquiries
**What we are looking for**:
- Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role; restricted licence holders will be considered if they are eligible if they are confident drivers who will be able to obtain a full licence within 3 months of employment.
- Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service, sales, or similar roles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivery exceptional customer service
- Comfortable learning and using various computer systems / hand-held devices to accurately input rental information (training will be provided)
- Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.
