**Goal**
- Strategy - Work with sales team and project management team to provide timely global market information, trends, price information research
- Supply chain management - coordinate with project team to deliver factory/supplier information/requirement to the sales/marketing team

**Working Location**:

- Support supply chain team by conducting research and analysis on global supply chain trends (esp. Commodities and company focus products)
- Assist in identifying most competitive countries for selected commodities
- Research and analysis of project information, including and not limited to, company study, industry analysis, potential investor identification, and other necessary research and analysis;
- Desk research on various business areas related to the firm’s focus industries. These include, but are not limited to, mining and resources sector as well as the industrial and engineering sector
- Conduct market and sector research on the firm’s target industries including key stakeholders, trends, regulation in order to identify targets for business development initiatives
- Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
- Supply Chain Coordination with Sales Team_
- Assist in responding to sales team inquiries related to supply chain
- Clarifying information required by sales team in order to developing solutions along with supply chain and project management team
- Support the team with sales target research
- Document Management_
- Assist in drafting supply chain documentation as required by marketing and sales
- Updating project managers on missing products not on the website via CRM system
- Project Management (as required)_
- Coordinating tasks with procurement team and project manager
- Assisting with client inquiries for product prices, logistics costs, documentation information/updates
- Update daily and weekly KPI figures.
- Action plans and improvements discussed in meetings.

- Able to work under pressure and around the clock
- Sound analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in teams with colleagues from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Must be able to work in Singapore Standard Time Zone

Desired Skills & Experience
- Willingness to learn especially in terms of related industries i.e. mining, construction, power etc.
- Work experience in either a start-up company, management or consulting industry, or a sales-oriented company is preferred but not required
- Strong customer relationship management ability and/or business development ability.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Good communication skills

- Understand the real challenges that occur before, during and after international trade especially when trading goods by sea
- Understand how a complete sales cycle occurs from marketing to sales to execution using real life examples
- Design and implement strategies as part of a team and learn how to contribute to a company team as opposed to academic team
- Learn to communicate and engage with international multicultural team and diverse client base from all over the world
- Potentially transition from internship to full time position
