This position is responsible for the Supply Chain across New Zealand ensuring that KPI’s are met for customer delivery and manufacturing efficiency. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the Auckland Supply Chain, coordinating the various elements of production planning, supply planning, master scheduling and other supply chain responsibilities as detailed below, to achieve business targets for EHS, quality, service, efficiency, and cost. Collaborating with the Supply Chain Managers and Operations Managers at the relevant manufacturing facilities as well as the Business Demand Planners, you will be required to establish integrated processes, forums for communication and continuous improvement plans. This role is a member of the ANZ Supply Chain team and the Auckland site leadership team.

**KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES**
**Supply, Production Planning & IBP**
- Develop monthly capacity plans and work with key stakeholders to meet demand, whilst optimizing service, efficiency, and cost.
- Facilitate the site supply review with the Operations leadership team to ensure supply plans are developed.
- Participate in the ANZ Supply Review.
- Ensure weekly schedules are developed in consultation with key stakeholders and are published in a timely manner that facilitates adequate resource and materials planning.
- Ensure weekly schedule adherence results are published; collaboratively work with Production Managers to implement corrective actions that reliably deliver weekly plans.
- Ensure new product introductions and deletions are managed through the supply chain.
- Assume overall responsibility for data integrity in mrp system setup.
- Optimise the timely planning of rework and zero value (ZV) inventories in batches.
- Manage the raw material procurement for the Auckland site ensuring the demands of the operations & business are met, whilst optimizing service, site storage capacities, efficiency, and cost.
- Drive actions to meet service level targets for the business.

**Working Capital**
- Drive reduction in working capital whilst maintaining service and efficiency.
- Drive operations/supply chain actions arising from the RA reviews.
- Conduct routine batch size reviews to ensure optimum batches sizes are manufactured that consider available capacity, cost, plant efficiency and working capital implications.
- Conduct quarterly safety stock reviews to ensure safety stocks of finished goods and raw materials at the regional warehouses and manufacturing plant are optimised.
- Drive Inventory targets of the business for raw materials, intermediates and finished goods whilst optimizing service, efficiency, and cost.

- Conduct mid and end year Performance and Learning Plan (P&LP) on time and ensure goals are set at the beginning of each calendar year

**Environment Health & Safety**
- Compliance with all company and legislative EH&S requirements.
- Ensure safe working and housekeeping in office area.
- Ensure all injury / incident reports are completed within time frames and reported to Manager.
- Any other duties as reasonable required.

**Operational Excellence**
- Lead supply chain projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement
- Assume responsibility for data integrity in MRP systems setup for supply chain related data
- Optimise the timely planning of rework and zero value inventories in batches

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- Supply Chain/Logistics/planning qualifications
- 5 years management experience in a supply chain or related field
- Knowledge of best practices in Lean Manufacturing.
- Basic APICS certification desirable.

**SKILLS**
- Detailed understanding of MRP principles & software.
- SAP systems knowledge desirable
- Effective communication skills to interact with Senior Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Suppliers and Customers.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically in EXCEL and Outlook.
- Strong Interpersonal skills, effective influencing skills for dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders.
