Our exceptional people see everything as an opportunity and are always striving to make more from milk. Right now, we are looking for a Supply Chain Development Manager to join our busy Supply Chain team.
This is a strategic role to lead the transformation and development of the Synlait Supply Chain through the implementation of a proven Supply Chain operating model, new innovations of ideas and technology, supply chain process re-design and a supply chain performance management framework. The overall objective being that this role facilitates developing an integrated supply chain strategy that creates a real competitive advantage for Synlait.
**Qualifications**:
- Tertiary qualification in supply chain operations and strategy, finance, business consultancy or equivalent field required, ideally at a post graduate level
- Membership of a professional Institution e.g. NZPIC, CAANZ, CIMA or similar recognized Industry body.
Experience
- 10+years of experience in a finance, commercial supply chain roles. Ideally a combination of all would be ideal.
- Proven experience of developing and implementing robust management frameworks for delivering tangible benefits
- Expertise across different industries of developing strategy alignment
- Proven capability to introduce innovation and best practice to Supply Chain functions
- Proven capability to develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders internally and externally
- Have hands on experience in driving projects with many stakeholders in an internal environment.
- Have experience working with management to secure mandate and support for initiatives, ideally including experience as an internal or external consultant.
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing supply chain and lean manufacturing philosophies, with relevant industry experience
- Experience in strategic planning and project management
