**Support Land Manager - Mid Canterbury**:
David & Jude Letham (Letham Farms Ltd.) own and operate a large dairy farm and support land at Lauriston in Mid Canterbury.
They have vacant the full-time role of Manager for their support land operations. The role requires the management of all aspects of the 178ha dairy support operations, including feeding dairy replacements; managing heifer winter grazing; growing forage crops; managing irrigation; and maintaining the farm.
- Very strong animal and pasture husbandry skills.
- Experience in growing and feeding forage crops.
- Skills in managing irrigation and farm machinery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer and data recording skills
- Knowledge of irrigated farm compliance requirements.
- A strong focus on workplace safety.
- A chemical handling certificate.
- Be well organized and reliable.
The reward package for the role will include:
