We’re looking for a National Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager - Store Operations to join our wider Safety, Health & Wellbeing team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Head of SH&W. Our team is the engine room - the centre of excellence when it comes to championing a rigorous and contemporary Health, Safety and Wellbeing agenda - supporting and caring for our communities and our team.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**

This is a critical role where you will lead the operational Health, Safety and Wellbeing team in the delivery of professional safety, health and wellbeing support, programmes, initiatives, tools and resources for delivery and implementation into the business.
You will also be responsible for:

- Supporting the operational business on achieving the ACC self assessment requirements
- Identification, research and execution of continuous improvement projects across health, safety and wellbeing.
- Development of strong internal and external working relationships with key stakeholders, including industry bodies and regulators.
- Development of practical operational solutions and their delivery to improve HS&W in an FMCG environment, to reduce the risk of physical & psychosocial injuries and support the operational and eCom businesses and teams
- Develop professional reviews and technical reports as well as building operational delivery plans for key emerging risks and their appropriate controls.

**About You | Mōu**
It’s a role requiring strong health, safety and wellbeing background, appropriate qualifications and at least 10 years HS&W experience, highly desirable is experience with ACC AEP and property/facilities related safety requirements.
You will have the ability to present and deliver health, safety and wellbeing information (including training) at all levels within the business ensuring clear understanding of the message and information delivered. You will have excellent communication skills paired with previous team management and development experience.
