Maintenance Team Leader

This role will see you leading a team where you will manage and deliver works safely, positively, effectively and efficiently along with playing a key part in the construction and maintenance of high voltage transmission substations assets, including but not limited to 11KV, 33KV, 110KV, and 220KV Transformers, disconnectors, earth switches, CT’s, VT’s and circuit breakers. You’ll also provide ongoing technical support, scoping and planning assistance as required.

**Who we’re looking for**
We’re looking for an experienced Electrician or Electrical Fitter with proven ability to lead and upskill a small team. This role is based in Hamilton or the greater Waikato area to assist with our faults roster. You’ll also need:

- Proven supervisory experience, with the ability to organise and plan own workload and the workload of others to achieve results
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to proactively champion our safety culture
- A great attitude and a willingness to be part of a diverse team
- Transmission experience would be ideal but not compulsory
