Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role
Working within the Portfolio Management Office, Business Improvement Team - The Business Improvement Advisor will support the identification, development, embedding and continuous improvement functions of Business Improvement Initiatives across the Property Delivery Team.

Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills are a must, as well as critical thinking and analytical capability. You will be personable, professional, positive and a lateral thinker looking for a challenge.
You'll be working collaboratively with a diverse range of internal stakeholders at varying levels across the organisation. You will develop key relationships and contacts to facilitate engagement and promote discussion to achieve focused outcomes.
Ideally you will have an understanding or background in a Property Delivery related field, knowledge and experience of the school sector and a track record in supporting or driving business operations and change.
The Investment and Portfolio Management Team is in the Establishment Phase so you will be joining a growing and evolving team. You will need to be agile and supportive as you will be joining the team driving strategic innovation and improvement across Project Delivery.
Te Puna Hanganga, Matihiko | Infrastructure & Digital, a part of the Ministry of Education, creates and supports safe, healthy, inspiring and ICT enabled learning environments. TPHM manages the Crown's second largest property portfolio of around 2,100 schools, has a replacement value of $20.13 billion and is responsible for the largest payroll in the country, and transports over 100,000 students to and from school each day.
As part of the Investment and Portfolio Management Office (IPMO), the PMO provides Portfolio level guidance, governance, standardised process and portfolio management best practices, tools and techniques. The PMO has oversight of the entire investment lifecycle, end to end, in its role to support evidence-based decision making.
