**_Te mahi / The Role_**

This leadership position in the newly transformed Information Systems Group, is responsible for leading and mentoring the teams that deliver, manage, integrate, and enable the modern and complex information layer of enterprise information systems that underpin the University’s data centric modernisation and digital transformation initiatives.

You will take an integrated and data centric approach, leveraging information systems to maximise the quality and value of digital information assets to the university. You will lead three teams, focused on data management, integration and automation, and enterprise identity systems.

Your role will be key in empowering these teams to continue the delivery of innovative and future focused information enabled outcomes that align with the future digital needs of the organisation. Your teams are dealing with technically challenging areas that are both critical and foundational and will need your thought leadership to take things to the next level.

You will be the type of person that understands the importance and value of data management principles, and different integration approaches at an enterprise scale.

You will need to be familiar with, and comfortable promoting best industry practises across areas of development, operations, integration, automation, data mastering, management and architecture.

This role leads three key information teams, so ideally you will have experience leading, and managing teams of technical delivery experts dealing with complex enterprise scale challenges.

Data is the thread that passes through all our enterprise systems, so you will need to be the type of person who is comfortable maintaining and growing a wide range of relationships with the various different University stakeholders.
