This organisation is a large scale, operational business and requires an experienced HR Generalist, who enjoys partnering with key stakeholders to provide advice and support. An operational background and experience with unions would be preferred. Extensive experience managing ER matters. Creating HR strategies and leading their execution. Ensuring all HR practices, communication and priorities are aligned.

**Role**
- Christchurch based and involves travel across sites within Sth Island region
- HR generalist experienced in operational environment e.g. manufacturing, transport
- Review, recommend and execute improvements to HR policy and procedures
- Competent advising in a unionised environment
- Advises and coaches on ER, disciplinary processes, performance and grievances
- Reports to HR Director and is part of a larger HR team
