We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Advisory Manager to lead a team of skilled professionals delivering high quality, people focused HR support across the organisation.

This role is all about leadership, building capability, fostering collaboration, and creating an environment where your team thrives. You'll be instrumental in guiding the team to deliver consistent, compliant, and responsive HR advice, while also driving improvements in processes and service delivery.

- Delivery of HR advisory services, including employment relations support and policy guidance.
- Alignment of HR operations with Council policies, legal obligations, and strategic priorities.
- Cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery.

**What you'll bring**:

- Proven experience in a generalist HR role, including team leadership and operational delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of New Zealand employment law and contemporary HR practices.
- A proactive, people-first approach with a strong commitment to service excellence and organisational impact.

**Additional information**:

- Hours of work_ - _Permanent, Full-time position, Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week_
- Location_ - This position is primarily based at Te Hononga Civic Offices, 53 Hereford Street_
