**About the role**
Four Points Sheraton Auckland is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our small HR team. This will be a part time role of 32 hours per week over 4 days, ideally Tuesday - Friday, with flexibility to work the hours that suit you between 08.00 - 18.00 at our office in the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau.

Supporting the Human Resources Advisor, the key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Assist with recruitment; create & post job adverts, conduct phone screens, assist hiring managers with interviews, reference checks etc.
- Take charge of onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Assist with internal training programs.
- Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from Associates and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies and guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information.
- Design and execute Associate recognition programmes
- Support the roll out of monthly, quarterly and annual wellbeing programmes

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you ideally demonstrate the following:

- Valid New Zealand working rights
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Experience with HRIS or CRMs
- Detail-oriented personality
- Bachelors degree in human resources or related would be an advantage
- 1-2 years of HR experience
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Attitude and willingness to learn all things HR
