**OJI Fibre Solutions is one of New Zealand's leading manufacturers and suppliers of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries throughout the country. Our customers include blue chip manufacturers and marketers of packaging products to the food, primary produce, industrial and grocery sectors.**
Reporting to the HR Manager, this entry level role will be busy supporting the HR team; ensuring we deliver outstanding service to our various Packaging, Distribution and Warehousing Sites throughout New Zealand.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all general HR administrative processes relating to the employee lifecycle are adhered to, including preparing variation letters, updating position descriptions, managing the new starter and exit processes with managers and payroll, owning our Service and Values Awards and maintaining up to date employee files.
- Coordinating with Corporate HR to monitor, prepare and maintain accurate reporting and analysis of HR Information including on boarding surveys, exit reports and maintaining the accuracy of organisational charts
- Supporting our Recruitment function coordinating pre-employment checks, follow up with Temporary Agencies, arranging interviews, preparing letters of offer and employment agreements, and supporting the on-boarding process
- General HR support including providing basic HR advice to managers, supporting the investigation and disciplinary processes by collating relevant documentation and supporting any one-off projects
To join our busy HR team, we need a person who is self-motivated, with strong attention to detail, enthusiastic with excellent written and verbal communication skills and above all has a customer service ethos. In addition, you will possess:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Experience working within a similar entry level HR administrative role advantageous
- Demonstrate your ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of an organisation
- Understand NZ employment relations environment and legislation
- Exposure to CHRIS 21payroll system advantageous.
