About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Human Resource Advisor to join our ANZ HR team on a part-time basis (30 hours a week), based at one of our Auckland Sites.
You will report into the Director Human Resources - APAC and develop and support high-performance people initiatives and practices for the ANZ region across all business units.
The key responsibilities include:
- Partner with business leaders to provide coaching and support, empowering them to manage complex people-related challenges and drive high-performance teams.
- Offer HR generalist support on performance management, grievances, investigations, and separations, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive culture.
- Lead initiatives to implement organizational and people development programs that align with Valmont's values, strategies, and objectives.
- Provide leadership support on workforce capability, succession planning, and recruitment to achieve business outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
- Use industrial relations expertise to interpret New Zealand employment legislation, ensuring best practices and coaching leaders on compliance.
- Partner with HR teams in Australia and New Zealand to coordinate HR processes, including remuneration and performance reviews, aligning with business priorities.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
You should have demonstrated success in a business partnering or HR generalist role, providing strategic HR support in a dynamic environment.
Proven experience in Organizational Development and change management, with a strong ability to drive transformation initiatives, is essential.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence, and engage effectively with stakeholders and leaders at all levels, are also required.
In-depth experience in Industrial Relations, with a track record of offering practical and actionable advice on complex employment relations issues, is highly desirable.
Experience working in a manufacturing or blue-collar environment is also preferred, with a strong understanding of the challenges and dynamics in such settings.
