**Recruiting & Human Resources Manager**
Ceres New Zealand seeks a strong regional human resources leader for both strategic and day-to-day functions including talent acquisition, employee relations and retention, performance management, and managing reward systems.
The Recruiting and Human Resources Manager supports all Ceres New Zealand projects in areas of recruiting, compensation, benefit administration, training and organisation development. They will also develop, implement, and monitor effective HR systems and provide responsive support and advisory service to all employees, managers, and other employees from worldwide offices, as necessary. This position will be based in Christchurch, New Zealand,(or in Auckland) and provides hands-on executional responsibility and leadership and will report to Ceres' Director of Human Resources in the United States.

Ceres New Zealand provides the highest standard of quality services in Demolition, Asbestos Removal, Concrete Cutting, Environmental Remediation, Material Recycling and Disaster Recovery. Ceres NZ is also the only Company in New Zealand to have demolished buildings using the method of implosion.
We have completed over 200 significant building demolitions across New Zealand and currently working on major projects in Wellington, and Dunedin with our main office located in Christchurch.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Key executive involved in international relocations, immigration and expatriates. Coordinates recruitment for positions, including internships and contingent workforce; oversees onboarding processes, monitors career development program, outplacement counselling, and exit interviewing.
- Collaborates with senior management to create and maintain an organization that is focused on market driven activities, but that is agile enough to react to changes in the market.
- Work with leaders and staff to systematically develop organisational culture to align with strategy
- Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures.
- Resolves employee relations' issues with a systematic approach. Works with employees and managers to determine root causes of issues and applies relevant solutions consistent with legal requirements and diversity, equity and inclusion philosophy.
- Manages and coordinates the implementation of staff training, management development activities and performance management systems. Facilitates organization, leadership and employee development efforts.
- Travels to local/regional sites to assist with employee issues, attend management meetings and carry out training.
- The Recruiting and Human Resources Manager is a business partner and trusted advisor to all divisions and organisations represented across all Ceres' Global sites; and is also a collaborative member of the global Ceres Human Resources team, communicating proactively with human resources colleagues on regional issues with impact on the global team.

- Possesses deep knowledge of employment legislation, principles, and practices in New Zealand
- Demonstrated time management and project management skills.
- Ability to coach at all levels within the organization: influencing, facilitation, presentation, negotiation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Demonstrated culture management and ability to translate desired company culture into specific employee and managerial behaviours.
- Ability to drive performance management to ensure maximum utilization of skills and talent.
- Flexible and able to manage effectively to a constantly changing business environment in a supervisory or individual contributor role.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Autonomous and self-motivated.
**Education / Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in HR/management emphasis or related field. Master's degree in HRM is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience ideally in a construction, engineering environment
- Plus a minimum 5 years in increasingly more responsible HR positions.
- Excellent English language skills
- Experience in a multinational organisation is a plus

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
