**What will you be doing?**
Reporting to the Chief Revenue, Marketing, and Brand Officer, this essential role is the first line of defense within our business unit. You will be responsible for ensuring our processes are compliant, effective, well-documented, and efficiently managed. This includes overseeing the business unit's processes, quality assurance, and risk management.
You will collaborate closely with the Revenue, Marketing, and Brand Leadership team and key stakeholders like the Head of Pacific Distribution to ensure that all partner and supplier contracts are well-documented, compliant, up-to-date, and provide overall value to Tower.
**You can expect to be across the following**:
- Lead and champion a positive risk culture within the Revenue, Brand & Marketing team with your specialist risk management knowledge and skills to identify, assess, manage and mitigate risks effectively and efficiently.
- Own the QA Plan for the Revenue Brand and Marketing business unit.
- Proactively develop and implement Quality Assurance strategies, processes, standards and controls to ensure all activities within the business unit meet the highest quality standards and regulatory obligations and internal processes.
- Ensure controls are strong and regularly reviewed and tested within Revenue, Marketing and Brand
- Provide line 1 Risk & Incident Management for the business unit (apart from customer facing teams ) focusing on ensuring risk mitigation activities have clear owners and actions and root causes are identified and well understood.
- Work closely with Risk & Legal and other relevant stakeholders to ensure management of these risks align with Tower's overall risk management approach and QA policies/frameworks.
- Support the management of compliance obligations/attestations and internal audit findings, including monitoring and reporting on compliance with regulatory obligations for Revenue Marketing and Brand/
- Ensure all contracts and supplier agreements within Revenue Marketing and Brand are regularly reviewed, are compliant, appropriately managed and are beneficial to Tower and our customers.
- Engage with and work alongside Line 2 Risk & Compliance to identify, assess and mitigate risks.
- Conduct risk analysis including proactively identifying emerging risks.
- Facilitate a structured approach including workshops and risk assessments to support an uplift in risk awareness and capability across the business unit.
- Prepare and present papers and reporting, including for relevant governance committee meetings.
**What you'll need**
**To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following**:
- At least 5+ year's experience in line 1 or line 2 risk role in financial services.
- Experience in insurance, sales, marketing, digital delivery related business unit/s
- Experience in Process Excellence and QA roles advantageous
- Experience partnering / working alongside business to uplift processes, controls, risk maturity
- Proven data analytics, reporting skills through a risk management system
- Demonstrated knowledge of risk principles and risk mindset.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements as they relate to Marketing and Sales specifically in an insurance environment.
- Strong understanding of risk management and monitoring processes (risk identification, assessment, treatment as well as control design, implementation and testing).
