What you will be doing

Reporting to the Chief Customer and Marketing Officer, this role plays a key first line of defense role within the business unit to ensure our processes are compliant, effective, documented and well managed. Specifically, the management and oversight of the business unit's processes, quality assurance and the management and mitigation of risk.

This role will partner with the Customer and Marketing Leadership team and key stakeholders to ensure our partners and suppliers have well documented contracts that are compliant, up to date and provide overall value to Tower.

You can expect to be across the following:

  • Risk & Incident Management: Lead and embed a strong risk culture within the Customer and Marketing team by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, managing incidents in Protecht, and ensuring alignment with Tower's risk frameworks.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Own and implement the QA Plan, develop and monitor quality standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage internal audit findings and supplier contracts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: Collaborate with Line 2 Risk & Compliance, facilitate risk workshops, coach on policy adherence, and prepare governance reports to enhance risk awareness and capability across the business unit.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • At least 5+ years' experience in line 1 or line 2 risk role in financial
  • Experience in insurance, sales, marketing, digital delivery related business unit/s
  • Experience in Process Excellence and QA roles advantageous
  • Experience partnering / working alongside business to uplift processes, controls, risk maturity
  • Proven data analytics, reporting skills through a risk management system
  • Demonstrated knowledge of risk principles and risk
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements as they relate to Marketing and Customer specifically in an insurance
  • Strong understanding of risk management and monitoring processes (risk identification, assessment, treatment as well as control design, implementation and testing).
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and analytics to drive continuous improvement
  • Commercial mindset with experience in contract governance and
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to partner, co-operate and collaborate with other senior leaders across the business.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation
  • Significant experience in General Insurance product knowledge
  • The ability to deal with a complex operational environment, undergoing significant
