About our group and team
SE&S - Sector Enablement and Support
Our teams around the country work closely with the Early Childhood and Schooling sectors, providers, and communities to provide support, expertise and resources to help children and young people reach their full potential.We also directly provide Learning Support for around 40,000 children and young people.
This position is in the Contract and Licensing team, we provide quality management and monitoring of diverse contracts that support student achievement and early childhood education. This position is pivotal in continuing an effective and trusted service for internal and external stakeholders.
About this role
This role provides an ideal opportunity to utilise your contracts expertise, coupled with superior communication skills to establish effective and trusted contract practices.
Cultural competencies and proven experience working closely within Maori and Pasifika networks and communities is key.
About you
- Excellent facilitation and ability to build key relationships with contract providers in diverse cultural environments;
- Knowledge of relevant contracting, regulatory requirements and best practice;
- Technically savvy person with a strong working knowledge with excel spreadsheets;
- Strong organisational skills and commitment to completing work accurately within a stringent timeline;
- Ability to engage with others within the organisation to promote supportive working environments;
- A tertiary qualification desirable or equivalent experience in contract disciplines.

**You will also offer**:

- Strong initiative, looking for ways to improve how you work to create best practice.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working in a contract's role.
- Experience with public sector service contracts would be highly regarded.
