**About the role**:
The Manager Infrastructure is responsible for managing the infrastructure team’s operations whilst ensuring high quality, consistent and effective service. The functional teams under the remit of this role are the Infrastructure, Network and Security, and Database and Integration teams. This role leads best practice methodologies and provides advice to ensure the organization is equipped to deliver on its strategic goals. Ensure resources are allocated effectively based on the prioritization of work requests and requirements.
**What you’ll bring to the role**:
- Seasoned experience in network, storage and server Infrastructural architecture and design.
- Demonstrated leadership experience - strong minded and tenacious problem solver with the ability to keep a team united and working at an elevated level.
- Extensive experience with SDLC and understanding of related processes and disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (oral and written) to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to respond to critical incidents to drive service restoration and provide inputs into the problem management resolution process.
- Experience with a broad range of relevant technologies and systems.
- Budget and financial management skills, including an understanding of government procurement rules.
- Ability to take complex technical information and break down for easy business and customer consumption to enable rapid decision making and justify technical decisions
