**Mōu | About you**
As our Group Manager Digital Workspace, you will lead a talented group of tech experts within our Digital Enterprise Services. This team is a vital part of our collaborative tech community, working closely with other groups to bring modern solutions like software-defined networks and cloud telephony to the forefront. Guiding this transition from old-school tech to modern solutions like software-defined networks and cloud telephony is a major challenge. Your role involves supporting our people during this change, helping them pave the way from the past to the future.
Picture yourself at the heart of the action, making decisions about investments, timing, and execution. Overcoming challenges and making the right choices at the right time will be your superpower. You'll craft strategic roadmaps to address our national telephony needs and propel our SDN strategy forward, even when faced with obstacles. Your success in this role means aiming for initiatives that align perfectly with our goals, breaking away from outdated norms to do what's right, not just what's easy.
Speaking of leadership, you'll play a pivotal role in steering our Network & Communications capabilities to success. By streamlining our support systems through technology standardisation, we'll unlock resources for innovation. You'll foster a culture of continuous improvement and system reliability, making sure our Network & Communications seamlessly weave into our Data & Digital strategy. And let's not forget about our customers - your guidance will ensure our teams deliver top-notch availability and performance, exceeding customer expectations every time.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Seasoned ICT / Technology expert with proven senior leadership experience and proven track record of leading large, complex mission-critical Information Technology environment(s) e.g., health, telecommunications, or public utility.
- Minimum 15 years' ICT experience in ICT. Needs to draw on extensive experience in varied environments, stretching over 15 years.
- In-depth practical understanding of running 24 x 7 IT operational management, technology lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations.
- Experience with executive and board level engagement, reporting and facilitation.
- Experience in creating and managing an environment of continuous improvement and managing people across multiple disciplines on extensive experience in varied environments, stretching over 15 years
- Experience in successfully managing remote teams and lifting engagement and performance
