**Who are we**:
Fire and Emergency New Zealand is a Crown Entity established on 1 July 2017 under the Fire and Emergency New Zealand Act 2017. The role of our new organisation is to reduce unwanted fires, respond to structural and vegetation fires and other emergencies including motor vehicle crashes, medical emergencies, hazardous substance related incidents, natural disasters and support increased community resilience.

**About the role**:
Working as part of the ICT Business Office, the ICT Business Partner serves as the strategic interface with assigned business areas for the purpose of business and technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Strong ability to plan, manage and investigate business situations where there is significant ambiguity and complexity.
- Experience in strategic planning, business development or client management, and working with a broad range of diverse and complex business units.
- Demonstrated experience in an account management, portfolio management and/or previous business partner roles.
- Strong business acumen and a track record of successfully engaging with senior level management, business owners and executives.
- Demonstrated capability to deliver high quality strategic business and technology planning artefacts that seamlessly integrate business demand and IT delivery.
- A proven track record in managing the delivery of business solutions in a service orientated organisation and a demonstrable commitment to excellent customer service.
