Join Te Whatu Ora at a key time of change where you will meaningfully contribute to our kaupapa of creating a more equitable, accessible, cohesive and people-centred health system. This is mahi that will improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it.
**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
Our Digital Enterprise Services team leads the way in merging our ICT infrastructure, reducing duplication to simplify our operations, making things smoother to handle and maintain. We're all about striving for excellence
Our team plays a crucial role in building a strong digital foundation and ensuring operational success. We're the driving force behind our organisation's modern infrastructure, adapting to evolving technology while ensuring stability, scalability, and modernisation. Our focus is not just on technology but also on delivering top-notch service.
We've got a lot on our plate From overseeing the national ITSM and Service Desk functions to managing workspace tools, core infrastructure, integration platforms, and more, we've got you covered. We're here to build upon our rich history and legacy, ushering in the future with contemporary platforms that seamlessly transition us from the old ways to the new.
**Mōu | About you**
As our Platform Manager Digital Operations, you will have some exciting and unique responsibilities in two important areas: People and Digital Operations Platforms.
Firstly, you'll be leading a talented technical workforce in Digital Enterprise Services, and this is a crucial part of our mission. We're in the process of transitioning from older solutions to a modern platform, and your leadership during this transition is vital. Helping our team members map out their career paths from the past to the future is key to their success and full engagement.
In addition to that, you will be making important decisions about investments, timing, and execution. Overcoming challenges and breaking down barriers to ensure we make the right choices at the right time is a significant aspect of this role. We're also looking at transitioning work from other teams to create more capacity across our organisation, so your expertise in this area is critical. We're all about doing things the right way here. Your leadership will ensure that our programs, projects, investments, and initiatives align with our goals and don't perpetuate old methods.
Now, on to Digital Operations Leading this aspect, which includes people, processes, and platforms, is essential to our success. We're aiming to simplify our support system by standardising technologies and processes, freeing up resources for investment. Speeding up our delivery of solutions on our platforms is another key focus, ensuring we get value to our customers faster. We're all about creating a culture of connectedness and continuous improvement. Managing availability to meet service levels and customer expectations is top priority. Your role will also contribute to our overall Data & Digital strategy, making sure our domain is well-represented at the Digital Enterprise Services leadership table.
Ultimately, how our customers perceive our services matters greatly. You'll lead our Digital Operations teams to deliver high availability, meeting the service needs and expectations of our customers. And let's not forget our equity objective - nationalising our platform investments to ensure everyone, including smaller and rural locations, benefits from our service development and deployments.
