**Business Services Coordinator**
The New Zealand Maritime Museum Hui Te Ananui a Tangaroa preserves, collects, and interprets Aotearoa New Zealand’s maritime heritage.
This role focuses on providing administrative support services to the Museum, the Museum Director, and the Leadership Team as required.
You will be part of the Operations and Finance team, reporting to the Head of Operations.
This fast-paced role requires an individual who thrives in a deadline driven environment, can prioritise tasks effectively and acts proactively, anticipating business needs in advance. You will also display sound judgement, and strong problem-solving abilities.
This is a permanent, fulltime role of 40 hours per week Mon - Frid and you will be based at Auckland’s vibrant Viaduct Basin on Hobson Wharf 3 days a week, with WFH option for 2 days.
**He kōrero mōu: About you**
You'll have proven experience in a coordination, administration, office management or complex receptionist experience. You'll be energetic, a responsive team player, and take initiative to assist staff when you see a need.
Given the nature of the position, you'll also need a high level of integrity and professionalism and be able to treat information with sensitivity and confidentiality.
As further guidelines you will need:
- Min 2 years administration experience
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and MS Project, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- NCEA Level 2
An interest in or passion for boating and sailing is advantageous
