**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**

As the Business Systems Programme Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for a diverse portfolio of approximately 20 projects, working with different technologies across a large customer group spanning all council departments.

You will work closely with the project managers and technical leads to ensure to raise delivery capability in the team and support them in the delivery of the work, and bring in additional capability where needed.

Providing timely and accurate reporting to key stakeholders, including ICT PMO and the ICT executive team, you will ensure allocated budgets are managed prudently and key milestones are met, risks and issues are escalated appropriately, and effective change control and governance is in place.

Leading your own projects will come naturally to you as you are able to flexibly adapt and resource work in the most effective way.

You will be comfortable with waterfall, agile and hybrid delivery methodologies and support our teams on their agile journey whilst ensuring that the most appropriate delivery method is in place for each project.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

You will have 10+ years of ICT project management experience, of which you will have spent at least 3 years leading, coaching and mentoring other project managers.

You will be passionate about agile whilst recognising that people and organisations need time to evolve and be comfortable with waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies. You will have led projects using agile, waterfall and hybrid projects and will be confident leading large projects using any of these methodologies.

You will have proven experience in managing large budgets, consolidating portfolio budgets and providing accurate and timely forecasting for senior stakeholders.
