Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator assists Program Managers in the execution of multiple program-related tasks. In particular, this role will help to prepare deliverables, reports and briefings. This position is suitable for a an experience coordinator eager to develop their career.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establishes and maintains folders for document control and tracking
- Supports and monitors all program activities from inception to completion including proposal development, product design, procurement, subcontracting, testing, delivery, installation and acceptance of the products and/or services
- Supports the program managers in performing the following tasks: monthly status reports; Program Management Review (PMR) slides; provides meeting logistic support, including the development of agendas, phone contacts, meeting minutes and action item tracking;
- Supports early or on-time deliveries of all required project/program documentation (CDRLs, etc.).
- Monitors programs' Action Items (AI) lists and supports timely completion of open AIs
- Performs financial management tasks, which may include invoice generation, preparation of information for the cost estimation team, SAP administration
- Reports on risk management to help identify risk reduction on assigned programs
- Coordinates and/or assists with proposal development, statements of work, specification development and major subcontract management
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with Cubic's Quality Management System
- Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
- Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organizations
- Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
- Other duties as requested
Minimum Job Requirements:
Qualifications
Essential:
- University degree in Project Management, Information Systems and Technology Management, Computer Science or other relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
Desirable:
- Project Management Certification such as Prince2 or PMP
Skills/Experience/Knowledge
Essential:
- 4 – 6 years' experience performing project administrative / coordination duties
- Experience of demand management and schedule management
- Experience working with SAP
- Strong knowledge of project management processes and tools
- Skilled user of SharePoint, MS Project and MS Office, MS Suite.
- Certificate / Diploma in Project Management is highly desirable
