**About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi**

We have an exciting opportunity in the Insights & Intelligence (I&I) dedicated to delivering cutting-edge data science and AI solutions to our operations business unit. As the Data Visualisation Lead within the I&I, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging interfaces and visualisations that enable the insights generated by our team to be efficiently embedded in the business. Our mission is to leverage advanced technologies to drive operational excellence and innovation.Your responsibilities will include developing intuitive and impactful visualisations that communicate complex data insights effectively, enhancing user experience and design practices across all I&I projects, and collaborating with various teams across the Chief Operating Officer (COO) unit to integrate current platforms and ensure seamless operations. In this role, you will work closely with the I&I business partnering manager and all teams across COO.You will lead the design and implementation of data visualisation projects, ensuring that visualisations are user-friendly and meet the needs of stakeholders. Additionally, you will promote best practices in UX and design within the I&I. Along with your strong understanding of UX principles and design best practices, you will thrive in a collaborative environment, contributing to a cohesive team. Your problem-solving skills allow you to break down complex problems into manageable tasks and devise effective solutions. Including:
- A relevant tertiary degree (Bachelors) in a business and/or technology discipline
- Ability to collaborate well with various stakeholder groups and leverage strong relationships with key business users.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- UI experience, preferably in both PowerBI and R Shiny.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
