Supervisor

We are looking for a friendly and professional Lift Operations Supervisors to join our winter whanau. You will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service whilst ensuring a safe and efficient operation of the lift services at for manuhir (guests) and staff around the maunga (mountain). Our lifts team incorporate a number of duties including running the lifts, parking, ticket checking, and deicing. While our supervisors might have specialities, you can expect to learn and supervisor a number of key roles to help us ensure safe and on time opening of the ski areas.

**M te tūnga | About the role**

At Mt Ruapehu no two days are ever the same, whether it's the weather, the number of guests, or working with your team, you will find that there's never a dull moment. This is a hands-on role where you will support the Head of Department and take the lead in daily operations of our lifts, ensuring a high standard of guest experience, and safety and wellbeing. Key responsibilities are:

- Supervise the daily operations of the lifts at the ski area and assist in leading a team of lift operators ensuring a thorough and efficient service is provided to guests.
- Supervise the de-icing of lift structures is carried out in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the de-icing manual and procedures.
- Work with the Maintenance team to complete daily safety and operational checks thoroughly and within set timeframes and that quality standards are maintained at a high level.
- Monitor lift queue lanes, perimeter fences and storage areas are maintained as required.
