Supervisor

We are looking for a friendly and professional Lift Operations Supervisor to join the Whakapapa team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service whilst ensuring a safe and efficient operation of the lift services at Whakapapa for guests and staff around the mountain.

**THE DAY TO DAY**

At Mt Ruapehu no two days are ever the same, whether it's the weather, the number of customers, or working with your team, you will find that there's never a dull moment. This is a hands-on role where you will support the Head of Department and take the lead in daily operations of our 12 lifts ensuring a high standard of guest experience, safety and wellbeing of our staff, our guests and yourself. Key responsibilities are:

- Supervise the daily operations of the lifts at Whakapapa Ski field and assist the Head of department in leading a team of up to 45 lift operators ensuring a thorough and efficient service is provided to guests.
- Supervise the de-icing of lift structures is carried out in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the de-icing manual and procedures.
- Work with the Maintenance team to complete daily safety and operational checks thoroughly and within set timeframes and that quality standards are maintained at a high level.
- Monitor lift queue lanes, perimeter fences and storage areas are maintained as required.

An enthusiastic approach and confidence working in a guest-facing role is a must along with a flexible approach to work and a preference for a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
