Distribution and Cleaning Supervisor

We have an opportunity for someone that is a logístical genius and a cleaning superstar to come and help lead our distribution and cleaning teams at Whakapapa this winter season.

**THE DAY TO DAY**

This is a supervisor position where you will help coordinate the distribution of stock across multiple cafe's and oversee the cleaning needs of the ski area. This is a hands on role where you'll gain skills in leading a team and coordinating stock across multiple outlets. The ability to ski or snowboard is useful as this is the quickest most of transportation between facilities on the mountain. You may be asked to help out in the café outlets wherever needed to help control business levels. In this role you will:

- Maintain accountability of all stock and equipment associated with stores and distribution
- Ensure all work areas, toilet facilities, staff rooms and staff accommodation are clean, tidy, maintained and ready for service
- Provide oversight of the cleaning operation
- Coordinate the incoming and outgoing of stock
- Provide leadership, training and feedback throughout the season
- Work alongside the Head Chef, head of Department and Coordinator to ensure a smooth operation of service

- Exceptional organisational skills
- Experience supervising others and setting expectations
- Demonstrated knowledge of Food and Beverage services
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- The ability to adapt and work flexibly to maintain service standards and adjust to business demand
- Good computer skills, knowledge of stock control systems and Microsoft products
