The People and Capability team are looking for an experienced Senior Advisor Learning & Development (L&D) to help shape the future of the New Zealand Intelligence Community (IC).
About the role
The Senior Advisor L&D will partner with stakeholders to design, develop and implement learning solutions that provide career progression, leadership development, core competency and technical skill development to support our agencies in delivering their mission. This includes our core suite of courses, career progression pathways and bespoke projects to support our stakeholder's strategic priorities.
What you'll bring
As a seasoned L&D practitioner you'll be an exceptional communicator, a passion for learner-centric design and ground your approach in adult education principles and practice. You'll use collaborative, creative approaches to analyse learning needs, provide recommendations and implement end-to-end solutions.
You may have dabbled in online learning and/or graphic design and be ready to turn your hand to new ways of working. As a senior practitioner, you'll play a key role in mentoring the wider L&D team, drawing on your experience and external connections to drive innovative practice and build capability.
**In addition, you'll have**:
- deep experience of learning needs analysis, solution design, implementation and evaluation
- a confident, plain-language communication style with excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- a curious, continuous improvement mind-set that relishes getting under the hood and into the data
- creative thinking, and determination to solve even the most complex problems

- a great sense of humour
