We currently have an opportunity in our Avondale based factory for a manager within our Spray Shop/Paint Finishing team. We are looking for a someone who is extremely quality focused and who takes pride in what they do. Shop fit-out / commercial fit-out industry experience would be an advantage.

**The key tasks of the role include**:

- Preparing, painting and finishing surfaces on various types of products and substrates.
- Managing the daily operations of the paint finishing team, ensuring all jobs are completed to a high standard and that client deadlines are met.
- Communicating with other departments to coordinate workflows and ensure deadlines are met
- Ordering stock and dealing with suppliers
- Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and functioning
- Ensuring a high-level H&S is maintained in the paint shop and that the team are trained in the safe operation of the equipment and products used
- Preparing samples for clients and working on site when needed

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
