**About the Role**:
Our client is a well-respected NZ owned manufacturer of specialist commercial joinery and furniture. They operate in a niche market, priding themselves on providing excellent service and top quality products which are often requested by name. They are a one stop shop offering design & manufacture through to delivery and installation.

This role is a brilliant opportunity for you to build on your existing joinery or fit out experience and grow your leadership career in a unique corner of the industry. You will be responsible for supervising and managing a skilled production team, ensuring manufacturing targets are met and that all goods are of the highest quality.

**Duties**:

- Carry out site installations safely to an excellent standard of workmanship.
- Oversee the site safety of work for all employees, sub-contractors and visitors.
- Monitor and check that all site installations are fitted in line with company's quality expectations.
- Provide training to other employees and sub-contractors as required.
- Manage the day to day workload of the site during installations.
- Ensure sign-off and other documentation for site installations are complete

**Skills and Experience**:

- High End Joinery or similar trade background essential
- Proven leadership acumen
- Strong knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety
- Ability to interpret production drawings
- CAD/ Microvellum experience is a bonus
- Good sense of humour & a positive attitude is a must
- Ability to pass a Police Check
