Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will provide valuable guidance and support to people leaders, playing a critical role in enhancing the overall people experience. As a true generalist role, you will provide the full scope of HR and learning support across key areas of NZ Sugar, including the iconic Chelsea Bay Visitor Centre, Supply Chain and Engineering.

As the guardian of learning and development at NZ Sugar, you will assume a vital role in nurturing the growth and progress of their people. Your drive and commitment will ensure that employees have access to valuable learning opportunities, empowering them to thrive personally and professionally within the organisation.

In addition to learning and development, you will take ownership of wellness initiatives, ensuring the well-being of employees is a top priority. Offering a diverse range of responsibilities and fantastic learning opportunities, this role supports and leads a range of HR activities and programs across the employee lifecycle.
**Qualifications**
- An appropriate degree qualification in Human Resources or related discipline preferred
- A driven and passionate HR professional that is excited by evolution and change
- Ability to build impactful working relationships with leaders and staff, understanding their drivers and individual needs to drive significant business value
- Extensive experience in providing advice on ER issues and an solid understanding of Industrial relations
- Experience in implementing and managing Learning & Development initiatives for enhancing workplace effectiveness
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and discretion in complex environments
- A visible HR Business Partner who can build relationships at all levels of the business with a proactive and genuine approach
