**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role is accountable for managing the scope, and planning works, ensuring that priorities, quality, efficiencies are gained, budgets and deadlines are delivered for each project, keeping the client at the centre of what we do, while operating within agreed Ventia guidelines.

**Some key responsibilities include**
- Support with project and task programming, including ensuring a proactive understanding of the project for effective allocation to team members, Proactively identify project issues and/or risks and implement appropriate measures to manage these
- Complete project start up, status update and completion reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to the appropriate managers, provide data to Maintenance and Operations Managers on risk and feasibly on programmed works. Ensure that monthly expenditure is achieved by ensure programme works are approved and loaded into Ramm.
- Assisting with claiming of works, development of the monthly programmes and implementation on approvals.
- Provide skilled technical and management advice to project team members as required and working collaboratively with the wider Operations Team to ensure maximum productivity of our resources

**ABOUT YOU**

They will also need to have demonstrated ability to interpret, evaluate, analyze plans, diagrams and sketches provided to deliver scope and effecting planning and scheduling

**Education and qualifications**:

- Class 1 NZ Drivers Licence
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or higher
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
