IDEXX is seeking a passionate Product Manager to drive the development of our latest software platform, Vello, designed to connect veterinary practices with their clients, the pet owners. As a Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on an exciting new platform central to the IDEXX software portfolio

**This role will be based hybrid onsite in our Auckland office. We are onsite 4 days per week, remote one.**

As a Vello Product Manager, you will lead the experience for our products and drive our experimentation and Product-Led Growth (PLG) initiatives.
- Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting market and user research
- Becoming the product expert and evangelist
- Owning the business case
- Maintaining a meticulously groomed backlog of well-scoped user stories
- Driving sprint planning and refinement
- Providing ongoing engineering support and serving as the point of contact
- Proactively communicating internally and externally
- Measuring and reporting on success
- Managing dependencies with other teams and squads

**In This Role, you will**
- Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative B2B and B2B2C veterinary software products.
- Understand market and user needs, gather product requirements, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop, define, and execute product strategies and roadmaps, including business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for product initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and design, to deliver high-quality products on time.

**What you need to succeed**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in product management, preferably in the B2B/B2C space.
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
