**About the opportunity**

We're seeking a **Sustainability Manager** to lead the development and delivery of T&G’s sustainability framework (Kaitiakitanga). Reporting to our Head of Corporate Affairs, this role is both strategic and operational, with the autonomy to make your mark across the global landscape of T&G. Our Chief Executive and Board share a deep commitment to sustainability and this position plays a critical advisory role on sustainability best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead the development and delivery of T&G’s sustainability framework, metrics and KPIs (Kaitiakitanga), including carbon reduction and climate adaptation plans
- Ensure T&G has robust environmental, social and governance practices in place
- Subject matter expert for sustainability, reporting on our sustainability agenda and advising senior leaders to drive action
- Lead sustainability reporting, assurance and disclosures, including climate-related financial disclosures
- Oversight of T&G’s sustainability data management, tracking progress on KPIs and metrics, and drawing insights
- Embed sustainability best practice within T&G, increasing our employees’ understanding so we can deliver positive action together

**About you**
- Experience in sustainability management from strategy to implementation
- Evidence of success supporting organisations to reduce scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions and respond to a changing climate
- Solid understanding of sustainability reporting, including Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Integrated Reporting () climate-related financial disclosures, greenhouse gas protocol, data management and external assurance
- Pragmatic approach, with a confident and engaging communication style
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Dynamic and driven with the confidence to navigate a fast-paced, complex business
