**Job Description**:
With a history of working on some of the most influential building and policy projects, our Australia New Zealand (ANZ) sustainability practice encompasses a team of people working collectively across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland. Our NZ sustainability team comprises a small group of enthusiastic, engaged professionals and we are looking for a like-minded individual to join the team.

We are currently seeking a Professional level Sustainability Consultant with 3-5 years’ experience to support our current and forward workload. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of building related projects to develop innovative sustainability solutions which reflect optimal environmental outcomes whilst balancing client objectives. Under the guidance of experienced Sustainability professionals, you will aim to be leading your own projects over time.

**Day to day responsibilities include**:

- Supporting the delivery of projects to achieve excellent sustainability outcomes for occupant experience and wellness, resource and energy efficiency, and carbon responsible design
- Contributing to the development of building designs, specifically in the areas of energy modelling, performance analysis, and sustainable building technologies
- Delivering exceptional internal and external client service
- Collaborating closely with team members across Australia and NZ

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:
You are an enthusiastic individual with a strong commitment to learning and sharing within a collaborative and close-knit team environment. Ideally, you are forward-thinking with a motivated interest in sustainability and are keen to build your knowledge in relevant personally driven interest areas.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in engineering, building science, sustainable architectural design or similar
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in a sustainability role
- Good understanding of current industry and New Zealand sustainability trends
- Knowledge of standards, regulations, codes and legislation in the area of sustainable buildings.
- Passionate about sustainable development within the built environment and a strong interest in fostering change for the better
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience in dynamic thermal and energy modelling software (IES is an advantage) and other computational analysis of buildings such as daylight, thermal comfort, natural ventilation
- Green Star, LEED, WELL, ILFI or NABERSNZ experience or accreditation will be an advantage.
