**About the Role**
As an **Administration Coordinator**, you will provide essential day-to-day administrative support and coordination functions for Community and Whānau Wellbeing programmes, team members and activities. This role will include a wide variety of tasks including clinic appointment scheduling and coordination, purchasing, processing invoices, answering phone and reception duties, administration support with meetings and projects, administration of fleet cars. The role is part of a collaborative wider team and requires flexibility in response to workloads and changing priorities which includes working across other work programmes.
**About the Team/Service/ Location**
The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.
**About you**
As an Administration Coordinator, you will be pro-active and an enthusiastic individual who works well as part of a team but can use your initiative and work independently when needed. You will be required to work with a range of teams and audiences in this role so you will need to be an excellent communicator who is able to engage with stakeholders and network across the NPHS Central regional teams and the wider organisation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in office administration, databases and coordination within a medium to large complex organisation or other government agency, supporting a manager and team
- Intermediate skills in the MS Office 365 suite
- Well-developed customer service skills
- Excellent organisational skills along with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities, and meet deadlines whilst preserving high levels of accuracy and confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the capacity to manage relationships at all levels
- Able to proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities in systems and processes to improve efficiencies
