**About the role | Mo te tunga**:
- This pivotal team are essential to the Enabling Good Lives approach and make a significant positive impact on the lives of disabled people, whanau and communities. The team is diverse and proactively aims to reflect the population we serve. As a team we work as an ally who assists a disabled person and their family to dream big, make a plan for the future and connect with their local community.
- This role makes a significant contribution to the transformation of the disability system and enables disabled people and whanau to have more choice and control over the lives they lead and the supports they use.
- In this role you will look after our team administration, collate reports, develop internal and external communications including updating information online and be the first point of contact for people enquiring about Enabling Good Lives in the Mid Central region.
- You will be required to establish and maintain strong relationships with a variety of people and in particular disabled people, tangata whaikaha and whanau.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Welcoming all people to the site through various channels
- Co-ordinating events, community meetings and activities
- Production of Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and presentation material
- Maintaining electronic filing systems and procedures
- General admin and process support for the team- Please be aware this role is located in Palmerston North. This position requires a hands-on presence in the office, remote work is not possible for this role.

**What you bring | Ou pumanawatanga**:
- Excellent knowledge of administrative processes, systems and technology
- Strong skills in the Microsoft office suite, specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint and Data entry skills
- The ability to communicate information in an accessible, clear and concise manner (including written format) appropriate to the target audiences
- Experience in preparing internal and external communications including newsletters, Facebook and website content
- The ability to effectively prioritise and schedule work to meet competing deadlines and maintain the quality of services delivered

**Salary | Utu-a-tau**: $60,707.00 - $72,990.00
