A new job opportunity has arisen at Taihape Health Ltd (THL). If you have a range of skills and passion for administration and business leadership in the health sector, we welcome your interest in this position. This will be a key role within the Taihape Health leadership team and the integrated team, as we move forward into the Rural Health Centre with Mokai Patea Whanau Ora Service Team.
We are looking for people who wish to contribute to the high performing local team at THL and partner with Iwi in taking a key role in supporting the wellbeing of our community, as well as connecting and being supported by the Whanganui Regional Health Network business and financial leadership team.
Development and leadership opportunities will be available to the ‘right person' who proves themselves to be driven, confident and competent to deliver a range of technical and leadership tasks. A commitment to provide training for unfamiliar technical tasks is a given, but we are looking for a ‘self-starter and ‘can do' attitude.
THL team are embarking on a new journey of change with our Iwi provider partner into a new facility and updated model of care, and we wish to attract a leader who can support the team through this change as well as deliver on the technical business tasks that are essential for a viable and effective business. The successful applicant will report directly to the THL Clinical Services Manager and work alongside other members of the leadership team.
We are looking for someone who;
- Is a flexible, self-starter able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Has relevant experience and qualifications in business or health management or related fields
- Has highly developed emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Has excellent administrative, customer service and computer skills
- Holds a current full NZ drivers' license
- Is passionate about rural community life and wants to be part of a dynamic team supporting the emerge of a new model of care that focuses on the wellness needs of our population
