- The Regional Māori Public Health rōpū advances Māori well-being outcomes in Tāmaki Makaurau through public health leadership, health promotion and disease prevention, and systems advocacy. We are now looking for a Māori Public Health Advisor to join our team to advance our efforts towards achieving greater health and wellbeing for whānau, hapū, Iwi and hāpori Māori.**Tē Tunga | The Role**
- The Māori Public Health Advisor (Policy) is pivotal in providing Māori public health policy analysis, technical writing, and advocacy. Responsibilities include analyzing government policies, writing submissions, and crafting evidence-based position statements. This role also supports community delivery contracts and aligns with Hāpai’s core goals of leadership, innovation, and fostering relationships.**Nōu te Rourou | What you bring**
- Relevant Tertiary qualification preferred
- Community engagement experience
- Expertise in Kaupapa Māori, strong Te Reo me ngā Tikanga.
- Proven experience in policy analysis and technical writing.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
