Our Te Aka Matua service bridges the gap between traditional wellbeing practices and the needs of urban Māori. This fresh approach acknowledges the strengths of whānau, weaving dreams into reality through a Te Ao Māori lens.

Te Whānau o Waipareira is currently seeking new kaimahi to reinforce this service. We have numerous fulltime opportunities available for mental health professionals and wellbeing practitioners versed in kaupapa Māori. Vacancies are outlined below:

- Kaupapa Māori Practitioner (Te Aka Taura)
- Senior Kaupapa Māori Practitioner (Te Aka Here)
- Clinical Practitioner (Te Aka Kawa)

**Your Skills & Experience**
- Strong commitment to Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori.
- Prior experience supporting and advocating for whānau.
- Knowledge of kaupapa Māori wellbeing approaches.
- Excellent communications skills (English & Te Reo desired).
- Ability to facilitate Karakia, Powhiri, and whakatau.
- Clean, Full New Zealand Drivers License.
